Remote Role : .Crop Harvesting Embedded Systems Engineer
Location : Davenport, IA
Duration : 6 Months contract with EXT
Job Description:
As a Systems Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Support the systems design requirements of existing and new features a combine platform, including many subsystems being adopted
- Support development of EOL Spec Document to support manufacturing
- Vehicle and Simulator Troubleshooting and Specification Updates
- Support specification Updates on Documentation
- Define test requirements for electronic subsystems
- Electronic system diagnosis and corrective action
- Validation of vehicle software using Python Test Scripts on a PC Simulator
- Resolution of functional issues
- Describe electronic functional testing on a prototype vehicle
Required Skills:
Deep expertise in Model-Based Design using MATLAB® Simulink
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or a related engineering degree
Experience with developing requirements, designs, and troubleshooting systems
Strong working knowledge of automotive related tools like CANalyzer
These would be a plus:
Ability to troubleshoot C++ code
Familiar with Python script development
Experience with CAN, and J1939
