- Technical architect to lead Platform team covering Open-Source big data technologies, security, reliability, scale, and usability .
- In this role architect will build and execute products and strategies for driving adoption of Azure HDInsight amongst new and existing customers.

| Responsibilities |
- Architect and build cloud scale products with focus on efficiency, reliability, security, and usability
- Review existing NoSQL schema, deployment parameters, deployment architecture, consistency/quorum/replication factor
- Recommend the right configuration/parameters/deployment model/schema structure
- Experience in getting the sizing projection and recommendation/Capacity planning
- Experience scaling the system for future growth/Performance optimization
- Understanding of distributed computing, message queue, parallel programming, concurrency control, transaction processing
- Hands-on in coding, design, and architecture primarily with Azure HDInsight, while also using a variety of programming languages as needed (Spark, Scala, Python, HIVE, etc.)
- Experience in Azure cloud platform (Desired)
Drive platform enhancements, and timely platform release cycles.
- Engage with customer escalations and mitigate risks on the product roadmap, ahead of time.
