Job Description :
We are looking for a full-stack developer to join our team and help us build a new portal for our platform. The portal will be used by wireless cellular customers who need to access their accounts. It will include functionality such as authentication, bill payment, upgrade/downgrade of the monthly plan, and more.
You will be responsible for taking this project from mockup to production. It will be based on an existing portal that we built several years ago. The new portal will be similar to the old one but with more features and more customization.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a full stack developer using ruby on rails
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience with testing tools such as RSpec or Minitest
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Heroku
- A good understanding of web development best practices and security principles
- A strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- A good communication and collaboration skills
