The ideal candidate should have experience as a lead at least twice in their career along with 5 years of experience in Service Now ITSM, ITPM Service Portal, and Custom Application Development. A service now certification is must have.

Job Description
A. ServiceNow Development Lead
Seeking one ServiceNow Development Lead that will be responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and the Organization. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in ServiceNow and takes pride in designing best in class solutions that push the boundaries of platform capability. Understanding best practice configuration principles within ServiceNow and have an adept understanding of the delicate balance between configuration and customization and the risks posed to the platform are critical for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight and guidance to Service Now development team.
• Configure and develop ITSM, SPM & other modules in ServiceNow platform with minimal oversight.
• Lead the effort to establish and leverage ServiceNow as the enterprise wide no-code/low-code platform.
• Ensure the platform is architected and used with out of the box features and configurations, avoiding or minimizing customizations. Printed on paper containing 30% post-consumer material
• Create technical documentation describing solutions developed.
• Support developers of 3rd party systems in integrating external systems to ServiceNow.
• Support the definition of best practices and standards across the development team.
• Collaborates with Business Analysts and others across IT to better understand the business need and propose options where possible.
• Ensure requirements are clearly documented with the correct attributes, product assignment, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide input to the Project Manager to support effort estimation and support prioritization.
• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of Service Now releases.
• Support transition to production.
• Help evaluate new ServiceNow releases and determine the business value provided

• Work with staff with varying skillsets and ability to coach, manage their time accordingly, and maintain good working relationship.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
